Yall are such idiots! You are upset that you recieved a tax bill….wah! Honestly read the info you recieve in the mail its posted everywhere.. "Buyer is responsibly for payment of applicable taxes". Read the bottom of your invoices where the integrety agreement is listed stating you agree that you are responsible for your taxes. Chances are you signed it and mailed it in for that $5 coupon right!? As for your order start a damn tracer and quit trying to spread lies you know youll get your money back or at least a new order so whipe your tears and move on!

The place I buy from is www.smokersource.com and I never been charged like Scott did. I highly suggest this site if you plan on buying tobacco on-line!

Beware of this site. I ordered 16 cartons over three months and received a letter dated April 23, 2010 from the Fla. Division of Alcoholic Beverages & Tobacco saying I owe $214.24 ($54.24 excise plus $160.00 surcharge). Apparently they report their sales to the state tax dept. so these "cheap" cigarettes are not cheap at all.

I saw this information posted at http://www.free-cigarettes.com. They used to give away a free sample pack of a featured brand cigarettes but would trap you into a nice tax bill at the end of the year. It doesn't look like OSD is even in business anymore.

Had a message on my machine from Salamanca NY.Said they could deliver by mail again.I called back and they wanted me to try a sampler carton,I said I couldn't at that time and was told they could call me back to set something up.They said they had my info from when I used to order before the PACT actwent into effect. I missed that call so I called them yesterday and today.I was told to leave my name& no.or to call back again.They also said I could order online.Something doesn't feel right about this so I'm not going to bother.I haven't heard anything about the law being changed about shipping tobacco by mail.

They're rats. Today I got a notice that I owed the IRS $4,786 for taxes on the cigaretttes I had ordered online a few years back. I may be stupid, but when cigarettes went up in my State so did Smokes Direct. I figured it was because the taxes went up here they were passing it on to a higher price on the cigarettes. I never was told I had to pay the taxes separately. So, beware, Big Brother is watching and will catch up to you. Does anyone know what I can do? I am unemployed & disabled and have very little money. What can I do about my past stupidity and Smokes Direct not making this clear to me. They really didn't where I live.
